Itinerary Details

Day 1: Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri – Gangtok (Drive)

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, meet your driver and begin a beautiful drive towards Gangtok. The journey follows the Teesta River, passing lush valleys, waterfalls, and winding mountain roads. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening amidst the cool Himalayan breeze.

Day 2: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the cultural and scenic highlights of Gangtok. Visit:
Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (Buddhist culture & artifacts)
Do Drul Chorten Stupa
Flower Exhibition Centre (seasonal blooms)
Enchey Monastery
MG Marg for evening leisure and local shopping
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion

Today is dedicated to a breathtaking high-altitude excursion. Visit:
Tsomgo Lake – a glacial lake surrounded by snow-covered peaks
Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir – a sacred Indo-China border shrine
Optional visit to Nathula Pass (subject to permit availability and weather conditions). Return to Gangtok by evening.

Day 4: Gangtok – Darjeeling (Drive)

After breakfast, drive towards Darjeeling, a scenic hill town famous for its tea estates and colonial charm. On arrival, check in to your hotel. The evening is free to stroll around Mall Road or enjoy a cozy café experience.

Day 5: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Start early with a sunrise visit to Tiger Hill, offering a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjunga glowing in golden light. Later, explore:
Batasia Loop & War Memorial
Ghoom Monastery
Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park
Tea Garden views
Evening at leisure in the charming hill town.

Day 6: Departure – Bagdogra / NJP

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of the Himalayas.
